London has as many cool historical artifacts as it does stairs (read: a lot). We went to the British Library and I could not believe how many documents were in good condition. We saw everything from Jane Austin’s desk to (one of the) Magna Cartas. Along with the huge collection of books they had a vast collection of postage stamps which were great reflections of the style and “going on’s” of that time period. I was astonished by the façade of the building, it was very modern and not as historic and beautiful as I expected. But it was nicely laid out and a good experience!
History at its Finest.
