We were thinking different variations of that the title the entire time while we were in Italy. You see, “we” consisted of myself, Laura, and Kayla. Three girls getting stared at by the Italian pigs in Italy was exhausting, but we made it through. On to the Pisa experience:
Our wonderful spring break journey began in Pisa! We flew in on Sunday and spent the afternoon there. An afternoon was all we really needed… Actually two hours would have done. It was a SMALL city. Regardless, it was a wonderful first day.
Our first stop after the airport was the train station where we bought our tickets for Cinque Terre. After that we began our search for the Leaning Tower of Pisa with our luggage in hand. It didn’t take long to find because, again, the city was tiny! After we took the “typical” leaning picture, we searched for a place to eat a lovely Italian lunch. We “settled” for Pizzeria Trattoria La Buca”, a little pizza place with a great view of the tower!
After we finished eating, we went to a plaza in the sun and played cards then found gelato and sat and read for a couple hours until we had to catch our train. That’s about it.
Enjoy the brief nature of this blog. Cinque Terre (my new FAVORITE place in the world) was our next stop. It will be about 2,000 times longer than this one. Cheers!
